Geri Poull offers year round service in the preparation and filing of Federal Income Tax returns. She also prepares and files all state tax returns for clients all over the United States. She offers convenient hours to accommodate everyone, also provides house calls for those who are not able to travel too far. Geri works with all her clients on a personal level to determine the best solution for your unique needs.
Geri earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Roosevelt University. She continued her academic pursuits and became an Enrolled Agent. Enrolled Agents (EAs) are regulated by the Department of the Treasury. EAs must pass a Special Enrollment Exam, pass a background check and must fulfill continuing tax-centric education requirements. EAs also have an unrestricted right to represent any taxpayer in any state. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all EAs specialize in taxation.

Geri offers two convenient locations, one in Itasca, Illinois and the other at her home office in Palatine. She also offers a secure client portal for clients to upload any documentation, especially for those out of state. Geri does everything possible to keep your personal information safe.
Geri has been married for more than 35 years to Jim, she has raised three children, all of whom have graduated college and are on their own now. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and has built her own Koi pond.
